to develop, host and maintain Dubai's used car complex portal, making it a one stop
shop that provides the is expected to improve levels of public services.
In September 2004, Link Development earned the confidence of Dubai Municipality
to develop, host and maintain Dubai's used car complex portal, making it a one stop
shop that provides the is expected to improve levels of public services. Link Development’s
reputation and experience in delivering world-class services and products with its
increasing regional and international exposure, as well as being a Microsoft Gold
Certified Partner, has earned the trust of Dubai Municipality to manage and develop
this project.
The UCC portal comes as part of Dubai Municipality’s efforts to improve the level
of services provided to the public and customers and as part of implementing its
Government vision. UCC is the largest used cars complex in the region with 130 showrooms
serving thousands of customers.
Link Development based the UCC portal on WebWize Catalog, a comprehensive Internet
presence solution it developed that includes e-branding, cataloging, advertisement
management and customer alerts. Link Development is currently hosting the solution
in its world class data center. The solution empowers all 130 showrooms as well
as UCC management to administer the portal and its content through an intuitive
and user-friendly administration module that does not require having any technical
know-how.
Link Development developed the portal to allow future expansion that will enable
the accommodation of thousands of showrooms and hosting of tens of thousands of
cars to be searched and viewed by the public.
Customers will be able to navigate all 130 showrooms and search on the UCC portal
for cars using different criteria while enabling them to check out the weekly auctions
taking place at UCC. Moreover, users become familiarized with the different services
provided by the complex, such as the traffic department services, inspection services,
banking services and driving courses.
