Link Development Achieves CMMi Level 3 Certification

for Capability Maturity Model integration (CMMi) level three certification .
CMMi certification is a global standard for the best industry practices for software
development. The CMMi Certification achievement recognizes LINKdotNET's software
and systems engineering activities based on extensive appraisal and evaluations
by a certified independent Software Engineering Institute (SEI) lead assessor.
It’s through the support and close coordination with the Information Technology
Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), the governmental agency which aims at supporting
the export-oriented IT sector in Egypt, and the Software Engineering Competence
Center (SECC), that LINKdotNET achieved the certification.

About SECC
Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC) is a governmental entity.
Its mission is to support the development of the software industry in Egypt by improving
the software engineering practices to higher maturity levels and achieving a strong
global market presence. The Ministry of Communication & Information Technology established
the center in June 2001.
SECC joined ITIDA ( Information
Technology Industry Development Agency ) which is a governmental entity
that has been established through Law 15 of the year 2004.
Software Engineering Institute SEI-USA has accepted Software Engineering Competence
Center SECC as SEI - Partner in recognition of SECC capacity and achievements since
established. This approval authorizes SECC to deliver CMMI courses and provide formal
appraisal (assessment) services commercially worldwide except in USA.
