Link Development, a subsidiary of LINKdotNET, the regional Internet solutions leader, announced today the launch of Intel’s first regional, Arabic web portal located at http://www.intel.com/arabic/. The portal aims to advance the development of new and niche markets by providing full Arabic content. It contains the company’s latest news and announcements and a comprehensive portfolio of available products with complete product catalogues including detailed descriptions and specifications covering all solution categories.
The new portal is the ultimate online stop for Intel reseller and solution providers, providing information about Intel products, channel member programs, Intel Authorized Distributors, local events and promotions, legal information, technical and marketing resources and other support services.
As an integral part of their ongoing strategy to educate and develop local markets, Intel was looking to develop a stronger Internet presence in the region and one that would support Arabic. Link Development was selected from amongst other development companies who all underwent a series of tests conducted by Intel. Link Development successfully demonstrated their competence in securing the Intel Web Author Certification, and was consequently selected for the project.
